Winter has certainly come with a vengeance; who would have thought that we would have snow on the mountains in sunny South Africa (what happened to global warming??).
Anyway...it's a good excuse to have another potjie. Albeit I made this Venison Shanks & Baby Onions Potjie on top of the stove (inside, and the atmosphere was slightly lost), but it was still good... especially with lovely red wine. Enjoy!
