Braaied Flat Breads

Servings:          12 breads
Total Time:        35 mins
Cooking Time:  5 mins (braaied)

Ingredients

2 cups cake flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ cup wate

Method

Mix the flour, salt & baking powder together in a bowl.
Add the olive oil & sufficient water to make a soft dough.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.
Cover and allow to rest for at least 15 mins

Divide the dough into 12 small pieces and with a rolling pin, roll each into a 15cm circle.

Cook on a hot plate or grid on the braai (barbeque) turning regularly until lightly browned, speckled and cooked through.

Serve warm.

Serving Suggestion

Smother with garlic butter and/or finely grated cheese (any, your choice!).
